Upcoming Events Country Walk Biggest Loser Weigh in at Clubhouse March 20th 9:00 a.m. Annual Garage Sale - March 13th Clean out the attic, children’s closets and toy boxes, garage and kitchen cabinets! The neighborhood Spring Yard Sale will be on Saturday, March 13th with Reside with Pride the following Monday, March 15th. This is your opportunity for some spring cleaning and a chance for some extra cash in your pocket. All you need to do is put your stuff to sell in your driveway and be prepared to make some bank! The Social Committee will place arrows on the correct street corners to point customers in your direction! Please email Diana Evans at Evans91115@bellsouth.net with your name and address if you are interested in participating and need an arrow pointing customers in your direction! Green Salad Shoot OUT - March 27th March is the month of green; why not win some green sharing your favorite tastiest green salad? Come gather down at the pavilion, mingle, make a new friend, see an old neighbor and share some tasty recipe ideas. A green salad can be one of those dishes that really sings on your plate, or it can be the ho-hum obligation that you eat because you think you should. The difference between the two is often just a matter of a few simple tips and small details. Let’s get creative with greens! Bring your most scrumptious GREEN SALAD down to the pavilion on March 27th and let us be the judge! You may just skip away a lucky WINNER of some Green! Egg Hunt - April 3rd Saturday, April 3rd the Easter Bunny will be hopping around the Country Walk field with candy filled eggs to hunt, and games to play. Get your picture taken with the Easter Bunny! Please arrive around 11 a.m. to hunt eggs enjoy the festivities and have a hopping good time!

February 20th was the gathering for the Chili Cook-Off. Many tasters arrived, a select few members of the Board showed up and the three judges ranged in age from 16 to 43! As the fire crackled in the fireplace and the music played the judges tasted chilli and reached a unanimous decision. A $50 gift-card to Chili’s restaurant was awarded to First Place, a gift basket stuffed with decorative kitchen towels, chilli bowls & kitchen.

It was a chilly fall afternoon in Country Walk as many ghosts, punk rockers, and goblins participated in the Fall Festival on Saturday, October 17th. The children won prizes as they played build a mummy, loop the skeleton and corn toss. Madison Haney, dressed as Raggedy Ann took the trophy for best costume. Adults and children alike participated in the cake walk and departed with some hauntingly scrumptious desserts! The social committee would like to graciously thank everyone that attended and all who slaved away in the kitchen baking all the delicious desserts!

The cow bells were ringing in Country Walk on Saturday Night at the Annual Adult Pool Party! We dined on a delicious spread of tasty chicken wings, homemade macaroni and cheese, shrimp and creamy banana pudding just to name a few. More than sixty of Country Walks finest brought cold cocktails and tasty covered dishes. Nichole Steward, owner of “Ambient Cuisine” catering, provided the mouth watering salmon quesadillas.

The Country Walk Super Bowl Party and Chili Cookoff was a great time for all who attended. We had 6 pots of great tasting chili competing for the grand prize plus neighborhood bragging rights. Click Here for the update and photos.

To help you keep those new years resolutions we are kicking off the social calendar this Saturday with the first weigh in for (2nd annual) Country Walk’s “Biggest Loser” competition. First Weigh-In is on January 3rd. See the above link for more details.
